Deer Run Boxwood removal 2025

Deer Run Neighbors,

The boxwoods in Centerville have experienced serious damage including many locations throughout our neighborhood.
Heavy spring rains compounded by significant drought contributed to widespread invasion of a moth in our southern counties.
The Ohio Dept. of Agriculture is monitoring 7 counties including Montgomery, for this significant issue.  This week (9/22), American Pride will be removing severely damaged/dead boxwoods that have been identified by 2 separate property walkarounds.

We understand there may be more bushes to remove, we will be continuing to address the issue as additional problems arise.

American Pride will start removing the first list of boxwoods today.

GRASS SEEDING

Grass seeding to replace the damaged lawns in high crabgrass areas will begin on Tuesday the 23rd.

Thank you for your attention on this matter.

Sealcoating Deer Run Schedule & phasing map

We will be sealing the roads maintained by the HOA this year.

This is a little tricky to split up, our contractor has decided the best way to keep traffic flowing is to seal in 4 phases.

The schedule is as followed:

Monday  Sept 22nd  Green (delayed due to weather)

Wednesday Sept 24th Blue

Friday Sept 26th  Red

 Monday  29th   Yellow

A few things to keep in mind:

All work is weather-permitting, so there could be additional delays.
Thank you for your patience as we maintain our beautiful community.

There is a day left between each phase, in order to allow everyone time to move their cars back to the section that was just sealed, once it is safe to do so.

Typically 24 hours are needed for everything to cure properly.

Please do not move any of the cones set in place by the vendor; the vendor will come around and remove the cones once it is safe to drive on the surface.

Any resident found moving cones will be held liable for any damages done to the project.

Also, any resident who has their vehicle parked in such a way that impacts the scheduled work, is subject to be towed at owner’s expense.
